INSTALLATION

The installation should be made by qualified service personnel or system installers according to the following instruc- tions.

■Mounting in the Rack

Note: Keep the Power On/Off Switch turned off while mak- ing the following installations.

1. Remove the Connector Panel and Bottom Cover from

the controller by removing the four screws.

2. Mount the Connector Panel onto the bottom by using the two screws removed above.

3.Mount the Bottom Cover onto the rear by using the two screws removed above.

4. Remove the side panels by removing the four screws.

5. Remove the Palm Rest Panel by removing the two

screws.

 

6.Mount the Rack Mounting Angles onto both sides by using the four screws.

7.Mount the controller in the EIA standard 19-inch rack.

Caution: Always keep the temperature in the rack within 45°C (122°F).
