MPEG Recording

✤You can record video with audio on the Memory Card.

✤The screen format of the video to be recorded is 720x480.

✤The MPEG Recording function works only in M.Cam mode.

Saving Moving Picture File onto a Memory Card

1.Check whether Memory Card is inserted into the Camcorder. If it is not in the Camcorder, insert it into the slot.

2.Set the Power switch to CAMERA.

3.Set the Mode switch to MEMORY.

4.Press the Start/Stop button, the video is recorded on the Memory Card in MPEG4.

You can record a Camcorder still image on Memory Card by pressing the PHOTO button instead of the Start/Stop button.

5.Press the Start/Stop button to stop the recording.

■MENU button and Menu selector are not available during MPEG recording.

To use MENU button and Menu selector, stop recording. MPEG recording is not available when a menu or Quick menu is displayed on the screen.

To start recording, press the MENU button to make it disappear.

■Before using the MPEG REC function, check whether the Memory Card is inserted into the Camcorder.

■Moving images that you recorded are saved in *.avi(avi 1.0) file format on the Memory Card.

■The files that you recorded are saved in a following folder. (see illustration low right hand corner)

■The moving picture images on a Memory Card are a smaller size and lower definition than images on tape.

■The sound is recorded in mono.

■The following functions are not allowed in M.Cam Mode.

DIS (Digital Image Stabilizer), Digital Zoom, Fade, Program AE, Digital Effect, Slow Shutter.

■While recording on a Memory Card, don’t insert or eject the tape as it may record noise.

■While recording on a Memory Card, don’t eject the card or it may break the data on the Memory Card or Memory Card itself.

■Turning the power off while accessing the Memory Card may damage the data stored on the Memory Card.

✤Puede grabar en la tarjeta de memoria imágenes de vídeo con audio.

✤El formato de pantalla del vídeo que se grabará es 720 x 480.

✤La función MPEG Recording <Grabación de MPEG> sólo está operativa en la modalidad M.Cam.

Almacenamiento de imágenes como un archivo de imágenes en movimiento en una tarjeta de memoria

2	1.	Compruebe que haya una tarjeta de memoria en la videocámara.
		En caso negativo, introduzca una en la ranura.
	2.	Coloque el interruptor Power en CAMERA.
	3.	Coloque el interruptor Mode en MEMORY.
	4.	Pulse el botón Start/Stop, las imágenes se graban en la
		tarjeta de memoria en MPEG4.
		Puede grabar una imagen fija en la tarjeta de memoria
		pulsando el botón PHOTO en lugar del botón Start/Stop.
3	5.	Pulse el botón Start/Stop para detener la grabación.

■El botón MENU y el Selector de menú no están disponibles durante la grabación de MPEG.

Para utilizar el botón MENU y el Selector de menú,

	detenga la grabación.
	La grabación de MPEG no está disponible cuando
	aparece en pantalla un menú o un menú rápido.
4	Para detener la grabación, pulse el botón MENU para que
	desaparezca.
	■ Antes de utilizar la función MPEG REC, compruebe que haya
√	una tarjeta de memoria dentro de la videocámara.
	■ Los vídeos que grabe se guardarán en formato *.avi (avi 1.0)
	en la tarjeta de memoria.
	■ El archivo que grabe se guardará en la siguiente carpeta.
	(Consulte la ilustración de la esquina inferior derecha.)

■Las imágenes de vídeo grabadas en una tarjeta de memoria

			son de menor tamaño e inferior resolución que aquéllas
			grabadas en una cinta.
MSAMSUNG			■ El sonido se graba en formato mono.
	SSMOV		■ Las siguientes funciones no están disponibles en la modalidad
			M.Cam. DIS (Digital Image Stabilizer), Digital Zoom <Zoom
		100SSMOV	digital>, Fade <Fundido>, Program AE <Program Ae>, Digital
			Effect <Efecto digital>, Slow Shutter <Obturador lento>.

■ No introduzca o extraiga la cinta mientras graba en la tarjeta de memoria ya que podrían grabarse ruidos.

■Mientras graba en una tarjeta de memoria, no expulse la tarjeta de memoria o podría dañar los datos de la tarjeta de memoria o incluso la propia tarjeta.

■Apagar el equipo mientras se accede a la tarjeta de memoria puede dañar los

datos almacenados en la misma. 101
