Configuration using RS-232

To configure the IP settings of the IP to 2 x RS-232 Converter using RS-232 commands, use the following procedure:

1.Connect a null-modem(“crossover”) cable from the RS-232 port on the computer to the IP to 2 x RS-232 Converter.

The null-modem cable can be connected to either RS-232 1 or RS-232 2.

2.Use the following COM port settings in the terminal program:

3.Set the IP address using the #set_ipadd command.

4.Set the subnet mask using the #set_netmask command.
