1.Abaissez les griffes en poussant le levier des griffes vers la gauche.

2.Mettez en place le pied pour boutons et alignez deux trous du bouton avec la fente du pied presseur. Ensuite, abaissez le pied presseur de

fa_on B ce que le bouton soit fermement maintenu.

3.R6glez la largeur du point de fa£on a ce que

I'aiguille p6n_tre dans le trou gauche du bouton.

4.Tournez le volant a la main de fa_on B ce que I'aiguille pique dans le deuxieme trou. II se peut que vous deviez r6ajuster la largeur du point.

_lb TTENTION! Pour eviter les

incidents :

Veillez a ce que I'aiguille ne pique pas dans le bouton pendant la couture. Sinon, I'aiguille pourrait se casser.

5.Cousez lentement une dizaine de points.

6.Relevez le pied presseur et coupez les ills environ 10 cm du tissu,

7.Tirez I'extr6mit6 du fll de canette et le fil

d'aiguille vers I'envers du tissu, Nouez les deux ills.

8.Apr6s la couture, amenez le levier des griffes sur la droite.

Remarque :

Pour coudre un bouton & 4 trous, suivez les indications ci-dessus pour les deux premiers trous. Relevez ensuite le pied presseur doucement et deplacez le tissu de fagon a pouvoir coudre les deux autres trous. Vous pouvez piquer dans les

trous deux par deux ind6pendamment ou en croisant les fils.

A. Bouton avec tige

Les boutons de manteaux et de vestes doivent

6tre maintenus par une tige de fil qui leur permet de se tenir plus loin du tissu. Placez une 6pingle droite ou une des aiguilles de la machine a coudre sur le bouton entre les deux trous et cousez par- dessus 1'6pingleou I'aiguille.

Tirez le fil derriere le bouton et enrouler les points de fagon a former une tige solide. Nouez les extr6mit6s solidement.

1.Baje los transportadores moviendo la palanca de arrastre hacia la izquierda.

2.Coloque el prensatelas para costura de botones, alinee dos agujeros del bot6n con la ranura del prensatelas y baje el prensatelas para mantener el bot6n firmemente.

3.Ajuste el ancho de la puntada de modo que la aguja se introduzca en el agujero izquierdo del bot6n.

4.Gire el volante manualmente de modo que la aguja se introduzca en el segundo agujero. Es posible que necesite ajustar de nuevo el ancho de la puntada.

PRECAUCII_N: Para prevenir accidentes

Aseg_rese de que la aguja no choca con el bot6n

durante a costura, ya que podr a romperse.

5.Cosa aproximadamente 10 puntadas a baja velocidad.

6.Levante el prensatelas y corte los hilos que queden a 10 cm del tejido.

7.Tire el extremo del hilo de la canilla y tire del hilo superior hacia el rev6s del tejido. Ate los dos hilos.

8.Despu6s de coser, mueva la palanca de arrastre a la derecha.

Nota:

Para coser un bot6n de 4 agujeros, siga el procedimiento anterior con los dos primeros agujeros. A continuaci6n, levante suavemente el prensatelas y mueva el tejido para poder coser los otros dos agujeros, independientemente o entrecruzados sobre los dos primeros agujeros.

A. BOTONES CON TALLE

La costura de botones en abrigos y chaquetas debe tener un talle para que no queden completamente pegados al tejido. Coloque un alfiler recto o una aguja de la maquina de coser sobre el bot6n entre los agujeros y cosa sobre el alfiler o la aguja.

Pase el hilo por detras del bot6n y enr611elo alrededor de las puntadas para formar un talle consistente. Apriete los extremos del hilo firmemente.
