Caramel Pecan Sweet Rolls
Yield: 3 batches of about 1 dozen rolls each 2 cups warm water
2 (1/4 oz. each) pkgs. active dry yeast 1/3 cup sugar
1 tablespoon salt 1/3 cup vegetable oil 2 eggs, beaten
6to 6 1/2 cups
1tablespoon cinnamon 1/3 cup raisins (optional)
3/4 cup butter or margarine, divided
3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed, divided 3/4 cup pecan pieces, divided
1.Place water in
2.Blend in oil and eggs. Mix in flour, 2 cups at a time. Scrape dough from sides of bowl to center. Cover. Let stand for 20 minutes. Knead dough until smooth and elastic, or about 5 minutes.
