Setting Terminal

Parameters

To set terminal parameters:

1Start the PC and select Start > Programs > Accessories > Communications >

HyperTerminal. The HyperTerminal window displays the Connection Description

dialog box, as shown in Figure 2.

2Enter the name of the new connection in the Name field and click OK. The dialog

box, shown in Figure 3 displays.

3Select the serial port to be used from the Connect using dropdown menu.

4Click OK. The Port Settings tab, shown in Figure 4, displays and you can set serial

port parameters. Set the following parameters:
