Configuring GVRP GARP VLAN Registration Protocol (GVRP) is a GARP application. GVRP is based on the GARP, and maintains the dynamic VLAN registration information in the switch and distributes the information to other switches. All the GVRP-supporting switches can receive VLAN registration information from other switches and can dynamically update local VLAN registration information, including the active members and the port through which each member can be reached.
