Adding ELANs

Additional ELANs can be added to a NIC after the initial installation. Perform the following procedure to add additional ELANs:

1If multiple ATMLink NICs are installed, identify the PCI slot and bus number of the NICs on which you want to install additional ELANs.

Use the diagnostic utility to obtain this information if you do not already have it.

2Perform steps 1 through 9 of the Windows NT driver installation procedure, as described in the section “Installing the Network Driver.”

3In the Select OEM Option window, select 3Com ATMLink PCI NIC ELAN Instance, as shown in Figure 3-12.
