If the number of minimum packet receive buffers is already present in the STARTUP.NCF ﬁle, add that number to the number calculated for the ATMLink NICs.

Driver Installation Procedure

Perform the following steps to install the 3Com 3C975

ATMLink NIC driver on a NetWare 4.x ﬁle server:

1With NetWare 4.x installed and the server up and running, enter the following command at the prompt:

load install

The Installation Options screen appears, as shown in

Figure 4-1.
