Installation and setup overview

The steps required to install Data Manager 3.xx software will vary depending upon the installation type. See the descriptions below for an overview of installation procedures.

Data Manager installation and setup should be performed by someone having in-depth knowledge of the library’s circulation system.

Installing Data Manager for the first time

You must complete all the setup steps listed below before you can use Data Manager software. Once you complete the initial setup, day-to-day operations are relatively simple and straightforward.

Upgrading Data Manager

If an older version of Data Manager software (v2.0 or higher) is installed on your computer, installing version 3.2 (or higher) will remove the older version and migrate your settings and formats to the new version.
