Changing channels, timeslot and power levels
Performing a channel assignment is a single instruction. Note that the slave unit must be kept in step with the master and the master must be measuring the master uplink prior to performing a channel assignment. Note also that a dual band channel assignment can be performed using the existing procedures.

OUTPUT Master;”HSCSD:MASTER:MEASURE:TSLOT ‘MASTER’” OUTPUT Master;”HSCSD:MASTER:TCH:ARFCN 1”
OUTPUT Slave;”HSCSD:SLAVE:TCH:ARFCN 1”
Changing timeslot is similar, and must also be performed when analysing the master uplink.
!
! select time slot
OUTPUT Master;”HSCSD:MASTER:TCH:TSL 2” OUTPUT Slave;”HSCSD:SLAVE:TCH:TSL 2”
Changing Tx Level is also simple. Note that Tx Level is not relative to the master setting, so the master level does not have to be sent to the slave unit. It does not matter which timeslot is being analysed at the time.
!OUTPUT Master;”HSCSD:MASTER:TCH:TLEVEL 15” OUTPUT Slave;”HSCSD:SLAVE:TCH:TLEVEL 5”
Setting the downlink power is simple as the slave offset can be any value.
!
OUTPUT Master;”HSCSD:MASTER:DOWNLINK:AMPLITUDE
