Diagnostics Theory

Introduction

Thischapter describes what is tested by the memory card based or ROM based diagnostics

andhow to interpret the level of certainty that is attached to failure reports. This chapter is

broken into sections for each of the diagnostic tests and a section for how to interpret

results.

Thischapter uses the current diagnostic test names for ﬁrmware revision code A.03.00 and

above. Memory card based diagnostic test names may differ from the current names.
