AT-WA1004G User’s Guide

Data - Options Screen

 

 

Backup DNS

 

 

 

IP Address

Enter the IP Address of the DNS (Domain Name

 

Servers) here. These DNS will be used only if the

 

primary DNS is unavailable.

 

 

WAN Port

 

 

 

Default

Inserts the default MAC address into the MAC

 

address field. You must click “Save” to actually

 

change the address used.

 

 

Copy from PC

Inserts the MAC address from your PC into the MAC

 

address field. You must click “Save” to actually

 

change the address used.

 

 

Save

Save your changes to the Wireless Router.

 

 

Cancel

Reverse any changes made since that last “Save”.

 

 

UPnP

 

 

 

Enable UPnP

UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) allows automatic

Services

discovery and configuration of equipment

 

attached to your LAN. UPnP is by supported by

 

Windows ME, XP, or later.

 

If Enabled, this device will be visible via UPnP.

 

If Disabled, this device will not be visible via

 

UPnP.

 

 

Allow

If checked, then UPnP users can change the

Configuration...

configuration.

 

If Disabled, UPnP users can only view the

 

configuration. But currently, this restriction only

 

applies to users running Windows XP, who

 

access the Properties via UPnP. (For example,

 

right-click the Wireless Router in My Network

 

Places, and then select Properties),
