Security

Select the desired option, and then enter the

 

settings for the selected method:

 

None - No security is used. Anyone using

 

the correct SSID can connect to your

 

network.

 

WEP - The 802.11b standard. Data is

 

encrypted before transmission, but the

 

encryption system is not very strong.

 

WPA-PSK - Like WEP, data is encrypted

 

before transmission. WPA is more secure

 

than WEP, and should be used if possible.

 

WPA-P5K is the version of WPA which

 

does not require a Radius Server on your

 

LAN.

 

 

Wireless Station Access

 

 

 

Allow LAN access by...

All Wireless Stations - All wireless stations

 

can use the access point to access your

 

LAN.

 

elected Wireless stations only - Only

 

selected wireless stations access your

 

LAN. To select the required wireless

 

stations, click the “Select Stations” button.

 

 

Allow Internet access

Internet.

 

Selected Wireless stations only - Only

Buttons

 

 

 

Select Stations

Click this button to select the required PCs.

 

 

Save

Save the data on screen.

 

 

Cancel

The “Cancel” button will discard any data

 

you have entered since the last “Save”

 

operation.
