Replacement Instructions

The following instructions explain how to replace the modem in the PowerBook G4 (1GHz/ 867MHz) computer.

Tools

•Black stick (nylon probe tool 922-5065) or other ESD-safe, non-marring tool

•Torx T6 screwdriver

•Torx T8 screwdriver

Preliminary Steps

Before you begin, remove the following:

•Battery

•Keyboard

•Bottom case (remove in step 2)
