Wireless Phone Configuration

To change the standard ring used for normal operation:

1.Select Ring Type and then select Telephone Ring.

2.From the Telephone Ring menu, select either Normal Ring (an audible alert), Vibrator Ring, or Vib/Norm Ring (vibrate for five seconds and then audible alert for subsequent rings). The Auxiliary Ring modes are reserved for future use. Vibrator ring works only if this wireless phone has the optional vibrating ringer. The ring type currently in use displays with an asterisk (*).

To select an option that describes the noise level in your environment, select High Noise Mode from the menu. Selecting the correct option will adjust the wireless phone to account for background noise. Select:

Normal: for most office environments.

High: for moderate background noise.

Severe: for extremely noisy conditions.

Use of the non-Normal Noise modes is not recommended unless you are in a loud environment, or you

may find it difficult to be heard on your wireless phone.
