4.4.2 SPI signal descriptions

4.4.2.1 +5V out

Thisoutput is avoltage supply for the setup cable only. It is not designed to power any

externaldev ices

4.4.2.2 CLK

Thecloc k is driven by the master and regulates the flow of the data bits . The master may

transmit data at a variety of baud rates. The clock cycles once for each bitthat is transferred.

4.4.2.3 MISO

Carries output data from the DSM back to the SPI master. Only one DSM can tr ansmit data

duringany par ticular transfer.

4.4.2.4 CS

Thiss ignal is used to turn multiple DSMs on or off.

4.4.2.5 MOSI

Carries output data from the SPI Master to the DSM.
