2.1 General safety

Safety warnings

Theinstallation of the device must comply with the guidelines in the ClickShare Installation Guide (R5900004).
Toprevent injuries and physical damage, always read this manual and all labels on the system before connecting to the wall
outlet.
The apparatus must beg rounded(earthed) via the supplied power cable. If thesupplied power cable is not the correct one,
consult your dealer.
TheClickShare product is intended to be used in ofce and indoor environments only.
Only use the power cord supplied with your device. While appearing to be similar, other power cords have not been safety
testedat the factory and may not be used to power the device. Fora replacement power cord, contact your dealer.
Thisproduct should be operated from an AC power source.Power input is auto-ranging from 100 V to 240 V.
Allequipment in the system is equipped with a 3-wire grounding plug, a plug having a third (grounding) pin. Thisplug will only
tinto a grounding-type power outlet. Thisis a safety feature. Ifyou are unable to insert the plug into the outlet, contact your
electricianto replace your obsolete outlet. Donot defeat the purpose of the grounding- type plug.
Donot allow anything to rest on the power cord. Donot locate this product where persons will walk on the cord. To disconnect
the cord,p ullit out by the plug. Never pull the cord itself.
Ifan extension cord is used with this product, make sure that the total of the Ampere ratings on the products plugged into the
extensioncord does not exceed the extension cord Ampere rating.
Never spill liquid of any kind on the product. Should any liquid or solid object fall into the cabinet, unplug the set and have it
checked by qualied service personnelbefore resuming operations.
Lightning - For added protection for this product during a lightning storm, or when it is left unattended and unused for long
periodsof time, unplug it from the wall outlet. This will prevent damage to the device due to lightning and AC power-line surges.
Only use attachments/accessoriess pecied bythe manufacturer.

2.2 Environmental Condition Check

Adevice must always be mounted in a manner which ensures both air inlets and outlets are free. Forinstallations in environments
wherethe device is subject to excessive dust, then it is highly advisable and desirable to have this dust removed prior to it reaching
thedevice clean air supply. Devices or structures to extract or shield excessive dust well away from the device are a prerequisite; if
thisis not a feasible solution then measures to relocate the device to a clean air environment should be considered.
Itis the customer’s responsibility to ensure at all times that the device is protected from the harmful effectsof hostile airborne particles
inthe environment of the device. Them anufacturerreserves the right to refuse repair if a device has been subject to negligence,
abandon or improper use.
