Problem Cause Solution
Virtualisationsoftware like Parallels When usinga v irtualisationsoftware on
Mac OS/X like Parallels, there are two
possiblities:
1. Theuser can assign the USB port to
tehost machine (OS/X). In that case,
Parallelscontent is treated like just
anotherapplication, in other words,
the users main display is screen
scrapedand shown by ClickShare.
2. Theuser can assign the USB port to
thevirtual machine (e.g. Windows).
Inthat case, the Windows desktop
will be screen scraped in normal
mode. When in Unity mode, there
is no Windows desktop. In that
case,it is better to use mode (1) as
described above.
ClickShare does not recover after my
Macgoe s into standby
Known issue on OS X Mountain Lion
(version10.8.x). The ClickShare client
cannot reconnect to the Button after
stanby.
•Nofix yet. Unplug and reconnect
theClickShare Button to recover.
• Upgradethe BaseUnit to the latest
softwareversion.
Boot time takesa very long time. Unit
seemsnot to reactfor several minutes.
Thereis a known issue that causes the
bootprocess to freeze for 2-3 min. • Justwait 2 or 3 minutes,the unit will
continuebooting normally.

Web Interface shows error in the
processes“WiFi Acces s Point Daemon”
and/or“DHCP Server”
Configurationfile is corrupted Browse to the Configuration tabon the
WebInterface and press “Load D efault

Connect a keyboard to the Base Unit.
When the boot selection menu comes
up,press the arrow keys to select “Load
DefaultSettings” and confirm by pressing
Enter.
Anillegal WiFi channel is selected Browse to the Advanced tab of the Web
Interface and change theFrequency
band and/or WiFi channel. After
+/- 1 minute, the processes should
automaticallyrecove r.
