4.Add water using the following ratios: White Rice = 1 scoop rice : 1 scoop water Brown Rice = 1 scoop rice : 1½

scoops water, or use water level markings on inside of removable cooking bowl.

5.Place the glass lid into position.

6.Plug power cord into 110V or 120V power outlet. The STARTCANCEL button and RISOTTO button surround will illuminate in white.

7.Press the RICESTEAM button, then press the STARTCANCEL button to activate the setting. The STARTCANCEL button surround will illuminate red and cooking will commence.

8.When cooking is complete, the 'ready alert' will sound and the multi cooker will automatically switch to the KEEP WARM setting.

9.Open the lid and turn the rice over with the serving spoon provided. Replace the lid and allow the rice to stand for 1015 minutes before serving. This allows any excess moisture to be absorbed, resulting in a fluffier rice texture.

NOTE

After using the RICE setting the appliance will automatically switch to the KEEP WARM setting for up to 5 hours.

NOTE

Do not remove the glass lid until ready to serve (except for when turning over rice after cooking is complete or as suggested in the recipes).

To stop the KEEP WARM setting, unplug the power cord.

NOTE

To measure water accurately, use either the scoop rice provided or the water level markings on the inside of the removable cooking bowl.
