LOWER THREADING

gPass the thread through the guide, and then pull the thread out toward the front.

•If the thread is not correctly inserted through the tension spring of the bobbin case, it may cause incorrect thread tension. (see page 67)

aTension spring

CAUTION

•Be sure to hold down the bobbin with your finger and unwind the bobbin thread correctly. Otherwise, the thread may break or the thread tension will be incorrect.

hInsert the tab in the lower-left corner of the bobbin cover (1), and then lightly press down on the right side to close the cover

(2).
