Restricting Reception

By enabling this feature, you can restrict reception of faxes to only the numbers registered for speed dialling on your FAX. This feature is useful to prevent reception of unsolicited faxes (e.g. junk mail).

Follow this procedure to enable or disable receiving restriction:

1Open the one-touch speed dial panel.

2Press Data Registration.

3Press Set.

4Use or ¨ to select SYSTEM SETTINGS.

5Press Set.

6Use or ¨ to select RX RESTRICTION.

7Press Set.

8Use or ¨ to select the setting you want.

You can select from the following:

ON (Enable restriction)

OFF (Disable restriction)

DATA REGSTRATION

USER SETTINGS

SYSTEM SETTINGS

UN/LOCK PHONE

RX RESTRICTION

Ex:

OFF

 

If you selected ON in step 8:

9Press Set twice.

Ex:

RX CONDITION

REGSTERED SENDER

10 Use or ¨ to select the restriction type setting you want.

You can select from the following:

REGSTERED SENDER

To allow reception from the numbers registered for speed dialling.

WITH SENDER INFO

To allow reception only when the caller gives its telephone number.
