Speed Dialing

Registering Coded Speed Dialing

Before you can use coded speed dialing (see "Coded Speed Dialing," on p. 4-8), you need to register the recipients' fax/telephone numbers. You can register up to 100 fax/telephone numbers.

NOTE

When the machine starts receiving a fax or redialing, registering recipients will be automatically canceled.

Follow this procedure:

1 Press [Menu].

2 Press [] or [] to select <FAX SETTINGS> ➞ press [Set] twice.

3 Press [] or [] to select <CODED SPD DIAL> ➞ press [Set].

4 Press [] or [] to select a coded speed dialing code (00 to 99) ➞ press [Set] twice.

5 Use the numeric keys to enter the fax/telephone number you want to register (max. 32 digits, including spaces and pauses) ➞ press [Set] twice.
