Adjusting the Exposure (Scan Density)

Density is the degree of differences between light and dark areas of an image. The <DARK> setting will make an image darker, whereas the <LIGHT> setting will make it lighter.

Follow the procedure of "Sending Methods" (see p. 4-1),and adjust the density as follows when required to do so:

1 Press [Exposure].

2 Press [] or [] to select the density press [Set].

You can select from the following:

-<STANDARD> for standard documents

-<DARK> for light documents to be darker
