- Do not change the camcorder’s operating mode.

NOTES

If you are creating a Photo DVD from photos on the memory card and the memory card contains scenes converted into standard definition for Web upload, the thumbnails for those scenes will also be added to the Photo DVD as image files.

Playing Back Discs Using the DW-100 DVD Burner

You can use the optional DW-100 DVD Burner and the camcorder also to play back high-definition (AVCHD) discs. This is very convenient, for example to play back your discs even in a location where an AVCHD- compatible DVD player is not available.

Operating modes:

1Connect the camcorder to the TV.

Refer to Connection Diagrams ( 100). Select connection 1 or enjoy high-definition playback.

2Turn on the camcorder and set it to mode ( 42).

3Turn on the DVD burner and set it to Disc Playback mode. DW-100Refer to Playing DVDs.

4Connect the camcorder to the DVD burner using the supplied USB cable.

If the device selection screen appears, select [DVD Burner] and press

.

5Insert the disc you want to play back into the DVD burner.

Use the OPEN/CLOSE button on the DVD burner to open and close the disc tray.

After the disc is recognized, the disc’s content will be displayed in an index screen.

6Select (, ) the scene you want to play back and press to begin the playback.
