N5K-M1008 Generic Expansion Module

The N5K-M1008 GEM supports eight 4-, 2-, or 1-Gbps Fibre Channel, SFP-based uplink connections. Figure 1-48shows the features used to install this module and Figure 1-49shows how the ports are numbered.
