Resolving Startup Problems
After installing a Cisco IP Phone into your network and adding it to
Cisco CallManager, the phone should start up as described in the “Verifying the Phone Startup Process” section on page

Note Any procedures that refer to an LCD screen display problem apply only to the Cisco IP Phone models 7905G/7912G.
Symptom: Cisco IP Phone Does Not Start Up
If you connect a Cisco IP Phone into the network port, the LEDs should light up and, on the Cisco IP Phone models 7905G/7912G, messages should appear on the LCD display. (See the “Verifying the Phone Startup Process” section on page
