Configuring Recurring Events

 

Command

Purpose

 

 

 

Step 4 absolute start hh:mm day_of_month month year

(Optional) Sets the start time and day for the recurring event.

 

 

hh:mm—Specifies the time (24-hour format) in hours and

 

 

minutes.

 

 

For example, 08:14 for 0814 and 20:55 is 2055.

 

 

day month year—Specifies the date.

 

 

day_of_month—The range is from 1 to 31. Use * for the

 

 

wildcard.

 

 

month—The range is from January to December. Use *

 

 

for the wildcard.

 

 

year—The minimum year is 1993.

Step 5

 

 

periodic days_of_the_week hh:mm

(Optional) Sets the weekly start time and day for the recurring

 

 

event.

 

 

days_of_the_week—Valid values are

 

 

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday,

 

 

Saturday, or Sunday—Enter a single day, a range of

 

 

days with a dash between the starting and ending days,

 

 

or multiple days separated by a comma

 

 

daily—Enter if the recurring event starts from Monday

 

 

to Sunday.

 

 

weekdays—Enter if the recurring event starts from

 

 

Monday to Friday.

 

 

weekend—Enter if the event occurs on Saturday and

 

 

Sunday.

 

 

hh:mm—Specifies the time (24-hour format) in hours and

 

 

minutes.

 

 

For example, 08:47 for 0847 and 23:05 is 2305.

Step 6

 

 

interface interface-id

Specifies the port or a range of ports to be configured, and enters

 

 

interface configuration mode.
