Beeper makes the Margay make a chirping sound each time a remote button is pressed (and received by the Margay). The display always triple-beeps when a button is pressed that tells the Margay to do something it can’t do, such as turn on the lamps when they are already on.

Curtain Pattern choose what the screen will show when the Curtain button is pressed.

Auto Codes causes the Margay to start flashing the On Screen Codes whenever an event causes the lamps to go out, such as opening the rear panel.

Plug and Play enables the Extended Display Identification Data (EDID) that is used by many computers to determine the capabilities of the monitor. This is a complicated standard, and not all video card driv- ers and operating systems act the same. If you are having trouble getting your video card to output a picture when attached to our dis- play, you can try disabling Plug and Play and rebooting the com- puter, to see if it acts any better. Normally Plug and Play should be enabled.

Inverted Installation inverts the menus, the picture, and makes the left-right sense of the image alignment motors switch.

Preferred Aspect Ratio tells the Margay which aspect ratio to use when the incoming signal may have several choices. For instance, 1024x768 and 1366x768 have similar signal timings, and the Margay might choose the wrong one. If you application sometimes has 1024x768 but never 1366x768, set this control for 4x3.
