Toggling thenKeypad On and Off

To convert the embedded numeric keypad section 1of the computer keyboard to a numeric keypad, press Fn+Num Lk 2.

❏When the embedded numeric keypad is enabled, the characters upper-right on the keypad keys are active and the Num Lk light 3 is on.

❏To disable the embedded numeric keypad, toggle Fn+Num Lk.

■The embedded numeric keypad cannot be enabled while an optional external keyboard or numeric keypad is connected to the computer.

Operating the Keypad Keys as Standard Keys

To use the embedded numeric keypad keys as standard keyboard keys while the keypad is enabled:

■Press and hold Fn to type in lowercase.

■Press and hold Fn+Shift to type in uppercase.
