4-12 Maintaining the printer

6Remove the printhead cables.

–Push the black locking tabs to the side. Remove the gray connector of the printhead data cable from the printhead cartridge (see Figure 4-11).

–Pull firmly on the white connector of the printhead power cable to remove it from the printhead cartridge. You can gently pull on the wires attached to the plug if needed to remove the cable.

7Remove the ground cable connector from the ground tab of the swing arm by pulling on the red sleeve (see Figure 4-12).
