Connection	Features
	• Support for Telnet/SSH command console and RACADM CLI
	commands including system boot, reset, power-on, and shutdown
	commands.
Serial port	• Support for serial console and RACADM CLI commands including
	system boot, reset, power-on, and shutdown commands.
	• Support for binary interchange for applications specifically designed
	to communicate with a binary protocol to a particular type of I/O
	Module.
	• Serial port can be connected internally to the serial console of a
	server, or I/O module, using the connect (or racadm connect)
	command.
	• Provides access only to the active CMC.

Managing Licenses

The CMC features are available based on the license (CMC Express or CMC Enterprise) purchased. Only licensed features are available in the interfaces that allow you to configure or use CMC. For example, CMC Web interface, RACADM, WS-MAN, and so on. CMC license management and firmware update functionality is always available through CMC Web interface and RACADM.
