General Program ProblemsA program crashes

disk or CD.
A program stops responding
Error messages appear
ENSURE THAT THE CARD IS RECOGNIZED BY WINDOWS®—Double-
click the Unplug or Eject Hardw ar e icon in the Windows taskbar. Ensure that
the card is listed.
IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WITH A DELL-PROVIDED PC CARD —
Contact Dell (see "Contacting Dell" on page127).
IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WITH A PC CARD NOT PROVIDED BY
DELL —Contact the PC Card manufacturer.
SEE THE SOFTWARE DOCUMENTATION —Many software manufactu rers
maintain websites with informa tion that may help you solve the p roblem. Ensure
that you properly installed an d configured the program. Reinstall th e program if
necessary.
END THE PROGRAM —
1Simultaneously press .
2Click the Applications tab, and then select th e program that is no longer
responding.
3 Click End Task.
REVIEW "ERROR MESSAGES"—Look up the message an d take the
appropriate action. See the software documentation.
