NOTE: The coin-cell battery is secured to the system board with double-sided tape.

6Lift the coin-cell battery up and off the system board.

7Remove the tape securing the coin-cell battery to the system board.

8Disconnect and remove the coin-cell battery cable from the power connector on the system board.

Replacing the Coin-Cell Battery

1Connect the coin-cell battery cable to the system board.

2Place the coin-cell battery on the system board in the location marked .

3Replace the modem (see "Modem" on page 177).

4Replace the cover and tighten the screws.
