Your system contains an RJ45 connector (see Figure B-7) on the back panel for attach- ing an unshielded twisted pair (UTP) Ethernet cable, which is used in 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX networks. The network interface controller (NIC) provides all the func- tions normally handled by a separate network expansion card.
