Entering Keyboard Commands

You can change the processor speed by entering one of the commands shown in the following table.

To enter these commands, hold down the [key and the [lutl key simultaneously and then press the m or m key. Use the [+1 or [-I key on the numeric keypad.

Note

You can use the commands listed above while you are running a program. However, if the program uses one of the same commands for another function, you cannot use it to change the processor speed. For example, if you are running a program that uses the [cbt [‘[:I command to move the cursor, you cannot enter [m [Alt) 17 to change the processor speed to slow. Another alternative is to use the ESPEED program, described below.

The speed setting remains in effect until you press the RESET button or turn off the computer, or until you change it again using the SETUP program, another keyboard command, or the ESPEED program.
