Follow these steps to remove the subassembly:

1.Remove the front panel from the computer by gently releasing the three tabs at the top of the panel and tilting it toward you. You may want to use a flat-blade screwdriver to release the tabs.

2.If you have a hard disk drive, the drive cable is connected to the main system board on the left side of the subassembly, as shown below.
