Limpieza de la válvula de funcionamiento

Después de cada uso, revise la válvula de funcionamiento para comprobar que no hay restos de ningún tipo en ella. Para ello, mueva la válvula a la posición que se muestra en la figura 10 y retire la válvula (instrucciones detalladas más abajo). Límpiela dejando correr agua a través de ella. Después, poniendo la tapa al trasluz, mire a través del agujero que hay debajo de la válvula y asegúrese de que no hay ninguna partícula de comida obstruyéndolo. Si fuera necesario, limpie el agujero con un cepillo pequeño.

CÓMO RETIRAR LA VÁLVULA DE FUNCIONAMIENTO PARA SU LIMPIEZA:

1.Coloque la válvula en la posición de expulsión de vapor (dibujo de nube de vapor fig. 10).

2.Tire de la válvula hacia arriba con cuidado, no más de un cuarto de pulgada (Fig. 15).

3.A la vez que levanta la válvula, trate de girarla hacia la izquierda, hacia el dibujo del círculo atravesado por una línea. Notará que hay una ranura, cuando la válvula llegue a esa ranura le permitirá girarla del todo hasta la posición de apertura (dibujo del círculo atravesado por una línea, Fig.16).

4.Saque la válvula tirando hacia arriba y límpiela como se indica más arriba en esta sección.

CÓMO RECOLOCARLA TRAS LA LIMPIEZA Apunte la válvula hacia la posición de apertura (Fig.11), coloque la válvula en su lugar y gírela hacia la derecha, hacia la posición de expulsión de vapor. Oirá un clic cuando la válvula encaje de nuevo en su lugar.
