Introduction

The Problem Log includes a listing of all problems that NetTool detected from the physical layer to application layer. Not every problem contained in this log is at the same level of severity; therefore, just because a problem is listed here does not imply that it is a catastrophic one. For example, Unwanted Protocols are included in this log, but they are not a major impediment to the operation of a PC on the network.

This chapter shows you how to access the Problem Log and lists the problems that NetTool detects. Possible causes and remedies for the problems are provided.
