Selecting NCS Channel

NCS channel can be selected as shown in the procedure below. Cur- rently, each satellite transmits one global beam. In the future, the sat- ellites will transmit multiple spot beams, namely, the NCS will have multiple channels.

1.Press [F7] to display the Options menu.

2.Press [4] to display the Select NCS menu. The NCS Channel List appears.

NCS channels programmed at page 2-16 appear on the list.

3.Select NCS channel.

4.Press [Enter].

5.Press [Esc] to close the Update screen.

6.Press [Enter] to select “Yes”.

The unit tunes to the channel selected.
