Editor menu setup

The Editor menu sets the parameters of the text editor.

1.Press [F8] to display the Setup menu.

2.Press [3] to display the Editor Setup menu.

3.Figure 3-5 shows the default editor setup settings. To change set- tings, select item with arrow keys, press [Enter] to open selection window, and select settings with arrow keys. After selecting set- tings, press [Enter].

Text Mode: Select “Telex” or “ASCII”.

Edit Mode: Select “Insert” (insert character at cursor location) or “Overwrite” (write over character at cursor lo- cation).

Word Wrap: Turns on/off hyphenation at end of line.

Line No.: Turns line number display on or off.

Tab Width: Sets horizontal tab width; 2, 4 or 8 tabs per line.

Column Width: Select Telex (69 Fixed) or ASCII (40 to 80).

Cursor Type: Selects cursor appearance, either (Block) or un- derline.
