Check voltage of limit
switches. 5.6 VDC when
switch is Open, 0 VDC when
switches are closed.
Check for 120 volts at the
motor speed controller. Pins
3 & 4.
Possible broken connection
between the motor speed
controller and the terminal
block, terminal marked “SW”.
Replace defective Limit
Switch
Check for 120 - 140 VDC on
pins 1 & 2 or Motor Speed
Controller.
Check for positive
connection at input leads
of Linear Actuator.
Check for binded actuator by
disconnecting the upper
mounting pin, and manually
spinning actuator shaft.
Replace defective linear
actuator.
Replace defective Motor
Speed Controller.
From behind the unit
manually raise and lower the
platen by lifting up on the
platen arms.
Replace worn or damaged
components.
