To replace the riser card:

1Turn off the system and disconnect the power cord and all external peripheral devices.

2Open the case. See “Opening the case” on page 18 and “Preventing static electricity discharge” on page 17.

3Remove any expansion cards installed in the system. See “Replacing an expansion card” on page 43.

4Remove the two screws that secure the riser card assembly to the chassis.

5Disconnect the riser card from the edge connector on the system board, then lift the riser card assembly out of the chassis.
