Table 71 Read FPDMA Queued Command (60h)

The Read FPDMA Queued command reads one or more sectors of data from disk media, then transfers the data from the device to the host.

If an uncorrectable error occurs, the read will be terminated at the failing sector.

Output Parameters To The Device

Feature Current

The number of sectors to be transferred low order, bits (7:0)

Feature Previous

The number of sectors to be transferred high order, bits (15:8)

Priority bit.

When the Priority bit is set to 1, the device attempts to provide better

 

quality of service for the command than normal priority commands.
