•To delete a message, tap . If your messages are still linked to messages on your e-mail server or desktop PC, they will be stored in the Deleted (local) folder. If your messages were downloaded directly from an e-mail server, they will be deleted from both your HP Jornada and the e-mail server.

The Read Message Command bar

By default, Inbox downloads only the first 100 lines of each new message when you connect to your e-mail server or synchronize with your desktop PC. No e-mail attachments are downloaded. The original messages remain on the e-mail server or your desktop PC. If you want to read the full message with attachments, you must mark the message in Inbox, and then connect to the mail server or synchronize again.

To mark a message for retrieval

1.In the message list, tap and hold the message you want to retrieve.

2.On the pop-up menu, tap Get Full Copy.

You specify your downloading preferences when you set up the service or select your synchronization options. You can change them at any time:

•Change options for Inbox synchronization using ActiveSync options. For more information, see ActiveSync Help.

•Change options for direct e-mail server connections in Inbox on your HP Jornada. On the Tools menu, tap Options. On the Services tab, tap the service you want to change.

Composing e-mail messages

To compose an e-mail message

1.Tap New.

2.In the To box, enter an e-mail address or select a name from the Contact list by tapping the Address Book button on the Command bar.
