Ifyou do change the transducerposition, re-trace the positionof the mounting
bracketbeforeproceeding.
NOTE:It is often necessary to make several incremental transducer adjustments
before optimum high speed performanceis achieved. Due to the wide variety of
boathulls, however, it is not always possible to obtain high speed depth readings.
6. Once youhave reached a consistently goodsonar signal at the desired
speeds,youare ready to lock downthe transducer settings.Force thepivot
tothe Up positionto gain access to themounting screws,then re-align the
mountingbracket against the transom of theboat to match the traced
silhouette.Check thebracket position withthe level again to makesure it
is stilllevel, then mark the thirdmounting hole using a pencilor marker.
Unscrewand remove the mountingscrews and the transducerassembly
andset aside.
