Set Offset (waterline or keel)
The Set Offset functionadjusts the digital depth readout to displaydepth
readingsfrom the waterlineor the keel (lowestpoint of the boat) insteadof the
transducerlocation.
1. Chooseto measure thedepth from the keel or waterline.
Keel: Measurethe vertical distance betweenthe face of the transducer
andthe keel of the boat.
Waterline: Measure the vertical distance between the face of the
transducerand thewaterline of the boat.
2. PresstheMENU key untilSet Offsetis displayedand flashingon the screen.
3. Enteryour chosen offsetmeasurement as follows:
Keel: Pressthe DOWN arrowkey to enter the
measurement fromstep 1 as a negative (-)
number.(-1 to -10 feet, -.1 to -3.0 meters,or
-.1to -1.6 fathoms;Default = 0)
Waterline:Press the UParrow key to enterthe
measurement fromstep 1 as a positive (+)
number.(+1to +10 feet, +.1to +3.0 meters, or
+.1to +1.6 fathoms;Default = 0)
4. Afteryourselection is made,wait 5 seconds forthe unit to return to normal
operation.Yoursettingsare saved automatically,andthe offset iconwill be
visibleon the display.
