Complete the following steps to connect the dc power supply cable:

1.Using the supplied strap, tie the power supply cord to the rail to provide strain relief for the power cord.

2.Connect the dc power cable to the power supply. See Figure 94 for the dc power supply connector PIN positions.

3.Connect the - 48V line of the dc power cable to an approved and rated disconnect device. The disconnect device must be easily accessible from the back of the DS4700 Express unit.
