The array disk drive is logically removed from the array, returned to the list of Resources and replaced by the selected Free Resource.
9. If | you | need to perform maintenance on the disk drive you have logically removed |
from | the | array: |
a. Display the list of Free Resources.
b. Select the disk drive that you logically removed from the array.
c. Set Service Mode.
You can now physically remove the disk drive for maintenance.

1.Shut down the operating system.
2.Remove power from the system.
3. Remove the adapter from the system unit.
4. Release the.1/clipsby carefully pulling them past the ends.2/. of the DRAM
5. Rotate the DRAM away from the adapter card.
6. Pull the DRAM out from the socket.
