Chapter 5: Setting Up the NDIS Driver

b.On the X.25 protocol properties dialog box, configure the X.25 network properties to use with this channel. For instructions, see Setting Up X.25 Network Properties on page 150.

All X.25 network configurations created in this dialog box are available for use by all of the adapter’s NDIS channels and SNA link services.

c.Click OK to save the X.25 protocol properties and return to the Channel properties dialog box.

NOTE

Because changing the X.25 network configuration changes the adapter firmware, use the WAN Adapters Setup utility to reload the firmware after making this change, as described in Saving WAN Adapters Setup Properties on page 163.

Frame Relay Port Properties

The following illustration shows the Port section of the Channel properties dialog box when the Frame Relay (FR) WAN protocol is selected.

To set up port properties for a channel using the Frame Relay protocol, do the following:
